Nathan does not know what to write!

I GUESS I`LL WRITE ABOUT SPORTS LIKE I GOT 3 HITS IT WAS GREAT. I ALSO LOVE MY FAMILY A LOT TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I'm Late

First time on the blog. Sorry I'm a few months late. Today was a great sabbath. Church, Lindsey's new calling as the Beehive advisor, my deacon's quorum lesson, meat and potatoes at the Webb's, S'mores on the back patio, family videos, Kelsey's FHE lesson, and nice weather. Can't beat it. We missed Adam and Whit.

I feel so blessed to have married into such a great family. While dating Lindsey, I never worried about her family not being loveable because it takes a practically perfect family to produce a woman as perfect as Lindsey.

Yesterday we went on a hike up South Leigh Creek in the Tetons. We missed Nate and The Morris Family...I guess we missed Richie too. There was enough snow still that it was hard to keep track of the trail. Good memories and we are sure to make lots more fun memories in the future. If we don't, what are we going to talk about when we get old? As Elder Packer said in the priesthood session of conference: "Young men talk about their future, because they have no past. Old men talk about their past, because they have no future."

Love,

Stu

Wonderful Stake Conference

Dad and I attended the Saturday Session of Stake Conference with Elder Bednar in attendance. It was wonderful! I came to love, respect, and admire Elder Bednar in a way I had not previously. He is a Master teacher and even though he is very firm ,,(I really liked his firmness) he was very warm and congenial with us. I really felt how much he loves us. On Saturday he talked about agency , covenants, and what it means to be consecrated. When we make covenants we are turning our lives over to God and are using our agency to say my life and everything I am and have is yours and I dedicated my whole life to doing and following your will. Sacrifice is saying I will give my life and the stuff I own for the gospel sake while consecration which is the higher law is giving our complete selves, in essence a thy will be done attitude in everything we do. It is seeking everyday of our lives to do our Father's will and not our will. I kinda compare it to putting off the natural man and becoming a Saint through the atonement of Jesus Christ. I want to do better. I think I will put my novels down and replace themwith something more eternal in nature. On Sunday Elder Bednar said that the question he is asked most often is how do I tell if its the Spirit that is prompting me or just my own feelings. He said his counsel is not to worry about it. Just be good boys and girls and the Spirit will guide you in your lives. He said most of the time we don't even know the Spirit has been guiding us until after the fact. He said we should act on good things in our lives and the power will come. Live good lives, keep the commandments and our covenants, serve the Lord and the Spirit will direct our lives. This counsel was very comforting to Dad because this is the way he has always lives and I think he wonders why he does'mt receive more spiritual promtings. But the Lord is working through him because he is a good boy! We love you all and you are always in our prayers and hearts. Give those babies hugs! Love Mom

It was wonderful to be with all of you this weekend at Brad and Sundee's. It is a tremendous blessing to belong to a family who truly cares for each other and desires to support one another, especially in adversity. It is so very impressive to watch the manner in which the Unsicker's are handling this trial. Their faith and trust in the Lord is a great example to all of us. As we pray and fast for Alec, let us also pray for the those who will attend to his needs, for ward members to be in tune to assist when family cannot, and for the Brad and Sundee to be inspired in any decisions that may need to be made.

Whitney, thanks so much for your gift of love. The Harry Potter cake was an unbelievable creation and will be a "forever memory" surrounding Alec's birthday and this time of preparation for the long road ahead. Thanks to Mom for being sensitive to individual needs and for helping so much this weekend so that Sundee didn't feel as burdened as she may have been otherwise. Thanks to Nathan for being a good cousin, willing to give up his baseball games in order to spend time with Alec and doing those things to make Alec feel like life is not all that unusual - at least for now. Thanks to Lindsey, Stu and Kelsey for also coming and showing your love and support. Brad and Sundee love you guys and I know you love them.

I am grateful and very thankful for each of you and consider it an honor to be your Dad!

Hello everyone!

I'm so happy to be a part of this wonderful family! A couple of weeks ago I felt so much gratitude for our family. We were all together and everybody was so happy and pleasant and I thought this is just a little piece of heaven. What a blessing it is that everybody loves each other and treats each other with kindness and respest. Now Hallie and Tate need to work on their relationship but since they are only two I think we can be patient with them and let them work things out. I can't express enough appreciation for Adam and Stu. What perfect spouses for our daughters! Thank you for honoring your priesthood and being men of valor. The gospel is so wonderful. My testimony of the Savior and his love for each of us grows stronger with the passing years. I live with great hope, not because I'm anything special or wonderful but because Christ has overcome all things and he is mighty to save. I think about being with all you great people throughout the eternities and I just sigh with happiness.
